History.

In 2001, a community of Christians signed a 15-year lease on what was previously called the Thorndike Theatre in Leatherhead. The building was dissused and there followed an ambitious and extensive refurbishment programme, including a complete re-wire, installation of new boilers and new sound and light systems in the auditorium.

The Theatre was recently put in the hands of the Leatherhead Revival Trust in order to find useful and creative ways of bringing the Theatre into its rightful place in community life.

Engage is a Pioneer partnership church for the Leatherhead area and is led by Gerald Coates and team. Engage is a member of the Evangelical Alliance.

The Theatre is the home of Engage, so most Sundays see our regular church worship meetings, to which we warmly welcome visitors.
